A) Test of English as a Foreign Language (Toefl)

The test assesses the ability to understand the English language in the way it is heard, spoken, read and written in a university classroom. The TOEFL iBT assesses the ability to read, listen, speak and write, and it is applied online all over the world. The TOEFL PBT, which assesses reading, grammar and writing, is offered in places where Internet testing is not available.

B) International English Language Testing System (IELTS)

Using nine rating scales, the test is available in two versions: 1) Academic - for people applying for higher education or professional registration; and (2) General Training - for those who wish to migrate to Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom, or wish to apply for secondary education, training programs and internships. Both assess the four language skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking.
